## Overview

Join our dedicated team as a CDL B Waste Services Truck Driver in Chesapeake, VA! We are looking for a reliable and motivated individual who is passionate about providing excellent waste management services to our community. As a vital part of our operations, you will ensure the safe and efficient collection of waste while maintaining a positive attitude and commitment to safety.

## Responsibilities

• Operate a CDL B waste collection truck safely and efficiently.

• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety.

• Collect and transport waste materials from residential and commercial locations.

• Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations regarding waste disposal.

• Maintain accurate records of routes, collections, and any incidents.

• Provide exceptional customer service while interacting with clients and the public.

• Assist with loading and unloading waste materials as needed.

• Participate in ongoing training and safety meetings to enhance skills and knowledge.

  Qualifications

• Valid CDL B driver's license with a clean driving record.

• Previous experience in waste collection or driving heavy vehicles preferred.

• Strong understanding of safety regulations and practices.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

• Physical ability to lift heavy materials and work in varying weather conditions.

• High school diploma or equivalent.

You should be proficient in:

• DOT Medical Card
• OSHA 10-Hour Certification (OSHA 10)
• Current CDL License
